Founded in 2024, Schools Go Skiing builds on the success of Schools Go Surfing and our passion for delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences to students. We are dedicated to providing high-quality school ski trips while bringing a fresh, innovative approach to the ski travel industry. Our mission is to help students embrace the thrill of skiing, enjoy the physical and mental benefits of alpine adventures, and create memories that last a lifetime.

how it all began

After four years in the school travel industry, Managing Director Will founded Schools Go Surfing in 2018, offering unique surf and well-being trips for schools. Building on its success and a passion for the mountains, Schools Go Skiing was launched in 2024 to bring the same high-quality, adventure-focused experiences to the slopes.

SKI TRIPS BUILT FOR SCHOOLS

Everyone on the team skis and has worked in school travel, so we know which resorts teach beginners well, which hotels take a group of 40 happily, and what a head of year needs in the risk assessment. Every resort we sell is one we have visited and audited ourselves, and the programmes are built for school groups rather than adapted from adult holidays.

Our team combines skiing, teaching, school travel and tour operating, the mix a school ski trip needs. It is why the trips are well organised and safe, and why every school deals with one person from the first call to the flight home.

We think adventure is one of the best ways young people grow. Every trip asks students to try something they have never done, in a place they have never been, and most of them surprise themselves by the end of the week. The confidence that comes from standing at the top of a run you could not ski on Monday lasts long after the trip.

Safety and Support

Every student is in a small group with a qualified instructor, every trip is planned on our safety management system, and our Trip Leader stays with the group all week. The result is a week where students can get on with the skiing and teachers can enjoy it too, knowing who is looking after whom.
